Dr. Shulamit Mor

Clinical Supervisor, Personal Counselling Services (PCS) York University

Director, Mor Centre for Performance Psychology

Dr. Mor is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario in the areas of practice in Clinical, Counselling and Rehabilitation Psychology. She received her doctoral degree from York University in Toronto. In addition to her private practice she is also the director and founder of the Canadian Centre for Performance Psychology. Dr. Mor is a Level 2 Certified EMDR practitioner and uses this approach for trauma and performance enhancement work.

Dr. Mor provides individual psychotherapy, group therapy and life coaching and has had extensive experience with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, situational stressors, existential issues, performance issues and career transition.

Sarah Hallett     

M.Psy   R.P.

Sarah is a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Sarah is trained in CBT, DBT, EFT and EMDR clinical interventions. She holds an M.Psy. (Clinical Psychology) degree from the Adler Graduate Professional School in Toronto, where she currently co-facilitates the Masters' level trauma program. Sarah has a Graduate Certificate in Psychological Assessment and Trauma Psychotherapy. Sarah also operates a private psychotherapy practice in Orangeville, Ontario.

Rather than being locked into one therapeutic approach, Sarah prefers to treat her clients holistically utilising a variety of approaches adapted to each client’s goals. Sarah works on issues such as trauma, complicated grief, panic attacks, anxiety, depression, shame, self-esteem, procrastination and perfectionism.

Saeid Chavoshi

Ph.D Candidate, Clinical-Developmental Psychology, York University

Professor, Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology

Trained in CBT, DBT, EFT and Mindfulness-based clinical interventions.

Saeid is a doctoral trainee at York University where he is involved in undergraduate teaching, supervision, graduate research, and clinical work.  His doctoral research program focuses on the development of techniques for improving time-management and behavioural skills that help students succeed in their post-secondary education.

Based on his doctoral research and training Saeid provides  Academic Skills Coaching, including Time-Management skill development training.  He works in partnership with  his clients helping them focus on the learning process, examine their learning methods, work habits, and barriers to success. His services are used by students with learning difficulties or those who are finding the transition to university setting challenging. He also consults students who are preparing to write competitive examinations for professional programs on how to optimize learning and time-management skills.

Anna Kriewald

M Ed, M Psy(c)

Anna is a member of The Ontario College of Teachers. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education and is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Psychology, with a particular focus on Adlerian Psychotherapy as well as School Social, Emotional and Psychological Assessments.

Anna has a graduate certificate in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and has experience with Trauma Therapy and Mindfulness. She has embraced the philosophy of Positive Psychology and has integrated its principles in her sessions. She has trained at the York University Counselling Centre, where she worked with undergraduate and graduate level Canadian and International students from various academic programs who had symptoms of anxiety and depression. She has facilitated workshops for clients aimed at developing healthy and efficient work habits and coping skills, and she has provided counseling to parents whose children are experiencing challenges in and out of school.

Anna is committed to the emotional, mental and physical wellness of her clients. She utilizes her experience and training to help her clients achieve a well-balanced, healthy and fulfilling life.

 Anna enjoys a variety of activities and hobbies, and strives to practice wellness throughout her day. She is a mother, partner and friend who believes finding beauty and gratitude in the simple things in life is part of being happy.

Alyssa Durbin

M.Psy

Alyssa Durbin has a degree in Clinical and Counselling psychology (M.Psy) from Adler Professional Graduate School in Toronto. She works with adults suffering from depression, anxiety, eating disorders, relationship difficulties and trauma-related issues. She holds graduate certificates in Trauma Therapy and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and received training by experts in the field of Emotion Focused Couples Therapy.

Alyssa divides her time between working part time in a residential eating disorders program and at Mor Centres where she offers both group therapy (CBT and DBT) and individual therapy with university and college population as well as adults of all ages.

Alyssa’s warm and empathetic relationship with her clients create a comforting environment for healing and growth. She utilizes a person-centered approach helping clients reach the goals they wish to achieve while promoting holistic health through a variety of therapeutic techniques.
